There is ample opportunity for sightseeing in the area, from areas of stunning beauty like the Forest of Dean to historic market towns, ancient castles and country houses, not to mention the towns of Hereford, Gloucester and Cheltenham, with Cardiff, Worcester and Bristol further afield.
There are a number of country shows throughout the summer, including Monmouth, Cirencester and the huge Three Counties show at Malvern. The famous food festival at Abergavenny is only a short drive away and the Literary Festival at Hay-on-Wye is about an hour from Edgehill.
